Enrolment of New Students

Office hours are Monday to Friday 8.00am to 3.00pm. Enrolment forms are available at the school or you can download the enrolment pack by clicking here. The students birth certificate and immunisation statement is required for the first stage of the enrolment. Once the enrolment is received, it is usual for a brief interview to be arranged with the Deputy Principal to provide an opportunity to discuss subject selections, school policies and any other areas of concern. Enrolment forms are then completed prior to students commencing.


If coming from overseas, please check that your visa class entitles you to access the Australian education system. Contact Tafe International on (08) 9218 2100 for this information. Some visa's such as tourist visas may be required to pay tuition fees. This is all directly dealt through Tafe International. Children of American military personnel posted to Exmouth have no restrictions on access to the Australian education system.

Students Leaving

Please contact the school as soon as you become aware that your child/children will be leaving. This will enable Deputies/Year Coordinators to commence clearance procedures and the clerical staff to prepare documentation for the next school.

2018 Term Dates for Students

Term 1: Wednesday 31st January to Friday 13th April

Term 2: Tuesday 1st May to Friday 29th June

Term 3: Tuesday 17th July to Friday 21st September

Term 4: Tuesday 9th October to Thursday 13th December

Please note: Staff/School Professional Development days are on the first Monday of each term.

Bus Service

A bus service is available for those students living at Coral Bay, Exmouth Fish Co, HEH Naval Base/RAAF Base Learmonth and Lighthouse Caravan Park. Log on before you hop on: www.schoolbuses.wa.gov.au or Phone 08 9326 2000. Families who use this service are requested to contact the relevant bus driver direct should you choose to collect your child before the end of the school.

School Hours

Adequate supervision of children who arrive earlier than 15 minutes before the start of the school day cannot be guaranteed. Parents are urged to ensure that children do not arrive prior to that time. If you are unable to do so, please contact the Principal. Special permission may be granted and these children will be required to sit outside the front office until the designated time. Children must be collected within five minutes of the close of the school day.

SMS Communication: School - Parent Absentee

For your convenience the schools SMS virtual mobile number is 0400 239 767. Please store this number in your mobile phone. This number can be used to send an advanced text message of your child’s absence or send a reply. It is also used to notify parents of all emergency closures. If you no longer want this service please make arrangements at the office. Parents – MUST notify the school immediately if your mobile number changes. Appointments throughout the day also require notification.

Parents are required to collect and sign students out / in at the front office.
