Enrolment - Information

Choosing the right school for your child is an important decision, there are many things to consider and questions you may wish to ask. At Exmouth District High School, we accept enrolments at any time during the school year. Our front office is located at 2 Carpenter Street Exmouth, open between the hours of 8am and 3pm Monday to Friday.

Enrolment of New Students
Enrolment forms are available at the school front office or you can download the enrolment pack by clicking on the link below. Requested documentation: You will be asked to show the following documents prior to your child commencing school;

- Birth Certificate or Birth Extract Australian
- Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement
- Copies of any Family Court or other Court Orders (if applicable)
- Visa details (if applicable)

Once the enrolment is received, it is usual for a brief interview to be arranged with the Deputy Principal to provide an opportunity to discuss subject selections, school policies and any other areas of concern. To download the Enrolment Pack, please click on the link at the bottom of this page.

Students from Overseas with Visas
If coming from overseas, please check that your visa class entitles you to access the Australian education system. Students on various visa types may be required to pay tuition fees. Please contact Tafe International Western Australia for further information, the details are as follow:

Children of American military personnel posted to Exmouth have no restrictions on access to the Australian education system.

2019 Term Dates for Students
Term 1: Monday 4th February to Friday 12th April
Term 2: Monday 29th April to Friday 5th July
Term 3: Tuesday 23rd July to Friday 27th September
Term 4: Tuesday 15th October to Friday 19th December

Bus Service
A bus service is available for those students living at Coral Bay, Exmouth Fish Co, HEH Naval Base/RAAF Base Learmonth and Lighthouse Caravan Park. Log on before you hop on www.schoolbuses.wa.gov.au or phone 08 9326 2000. Families who use this service are requested to contact the relevant bus driver direct should you choose to collect your child before the end of the school.
