Policies - Behaviour Management Policy

Exmouth District High School Behaviour Management policy encourages staff to develop a learning environment that is welcoming, supportive and safe. The school’s learning environment conveys the ways in which individuals are valued and reflects expectations regarding behaviour. Schools strive to develop an environment that is free of violence, coercion and discrimination and minimises the impact of disruptive behaviour. All members of the school community share responsibility for the maintenance of good order and personal safety within schools.

Our approach is preventative in nature, promotes pro-social behaviour, student wellbeing and the development of self-discipline. When incidents do occur we focus on early intervention, use restorative justice and communicate to all stakeholders.
