At Exmouth District High School, we are committed to creating safe, inclusive and respectful learning environments where every student can thrive. Our behaviour management and student support processes are grounded in positive relationships, clear expectations and a strong focus on wellbeing.
Our approach is guided by the school’s Code of Conduct, which outlines shared responsibilities and sets clear behavioural expectations across the school. Students are explicitly taught these expectations and supported to develop strong social and emotional skills.
We take a proactive approach to behaviour, responding early when concerns arise through classroom adjustments, targeted supports, mentoring and close collaboration with families. For students who need additional assistance, our Student Support Team works with staff and parents to develop personalised plans.
Restorative practices are prioritised to help students repair relationships and re-engage positively with learning. When behaviour does not meet expectations, fair and consistent consequences are applied in line with our Code of Conduct, with a focus on learning, accountability and future success.
Together, as one school community, we aim to create calm, engaging environments where every student is supported to Aim High and achieve their best.
