Senior School – Year 11 & 12
We have a retention rate of over 90% which indicates strong support of our senior school ATAR and General course and endorsed programs.
We provide a pathway which includes face to face classes in English, Mathematics, Workplace Learning, and Materials Design & Technology.
In addition to our face to face teaching we offer students an extensive selection of subjects through The School of Isolated and Distance Education (SIDE), with a dedicated study room specifically designed for this purpose. Subjects include a wide range of Vocational Education and Training (VET) Certificate II’s. On offer are a wide range of General courses from SIDE like Automotive, Children Family and Community, Career and Enterprise, and ATAR subject like Physics, Chemistry and Specialist Mathematics.
The local Central Regional TAFE at Exmouth also supports the school with face to face certificate courses ranging from Certificate II in Sampling and Measurement and Certificate III in Tourism.
Students are supported in School Based Traineeships within local industry areas, including Raytheon Exmouth and Bernice McLeod Childcare.
Students enrolled in subjects through SIDE receive academic support from a full-time teacher and an Education Assistant. Additionally, their designated SIDE teachers also regularly visit the students in Exmouth.
Our students’ educational pathways are catered to their individual needs.
