What is Good Standing?
At Exmouth District High School, all students begin each term with Good Standing. Students are responsible for maintaining their Good Standing by consistently meeting our school expectations.
Good Standing recognises positive behaviour, work ethic, attendance and adherence to the school dress code. Students who maintain Good Standing are eligible to participate in a range of social and non-curricular activities, including excursions, camps, interschool events and reward days.
Good Standing and Our Code of Conduct
Our Good Standing Policy supports the Exmouth District High School Code of Conduct, which is built around three core values:
- We Are Respectful
- We Are Responsible
- We Aim High
These values guide how we learn, behave and care for ourselves, others and our environment.
We believe students learn best in a welcoming, inclusive and supportive environment where positive relationships, high expectations and personal responsibility are valued.
Good Standing encourages students to take ownership of their choices, understand how their actions impact themselves and others, and contribute positively to our school community.
Maintaining Good Standing
To maintain Good Standing, students must:
- Demonstrate our Code of Conduct values: We Are Respectful, We Are Responsible and We Aim High.
- Comply with the Attendance Policy.
- Follow the School Dress Code Policy.
