School Board

Role & Direction

The Exmouth District High School Board provides governance by setting strategic direction, shaping policy, and monitoring the school’s performance on behalf of the Minister for Education, the Director General of Education, and our local community.

The day-to-day operation of the school sits with the Principal and leadership team, who are committed to delivering high-quality academic, creative, physical, social and emotional learning opportunities for every student from Kindergarten to Year 12.

Working in close partnership with school leadership, the Board understands the context in which the school operates, sets high expectations, and supports continuous improvement. Current trends in school performance data show strong progress, with the school continuing to strengthen learning outcomes and student pathways

Direction

The Board and school community share a clear vision:

To develop well-adjusted, creative and resilient students through high-quality teaching and learning in a collaborative, safe environment—nurturing lifelong learners enriched by our connection to the Ningaloo Coast.

As a school community, we stand together to challenge students to aim higher than their personal best, connect learning to the wider world, and foster creativity and innovation so every student can thrive.

Strategic Priorities

Aligned to the School Business Plan, the Board and school maintain a clear focus on:

  • Excellence in Teaching & Learning
  • Inclusion & Wellbeing
  • High Academic Achievement
  • Engaged Families & Communities

The Board is proud of the progress made to date and remains committed to working alongside staff, families and the wider community to build on this momentum. Together, we are determined to meet future challenges in a positive, purposeful and collaborative way—always in the best interests of our students.
